Kacy Myree Schmidt and Timothy Christian Caboni were married Saturday, September 6th by Rev. Johnny Adams at the Windsor Court in New Orleans, LA.
Mrs. Caboni, is director of development at the Kansas University Endowment Association, where she raises money for the KU School of Business. She graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is the daughter of Tracy and Kay Schmidt of Manhattan, KS.
Mr. Caboni, works as vice chancellor for public affairs at the University of Kansas, where he serves as principal spokesperson and oversees the communications, marketing, and legislative advocacy efforts of the university.
He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in speech and rhetoric from Louisiana State University.
He also has a doctor of philosophy degree in higher education leadership and public policy from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College.
He is the son of August Caboni of New Orleans, LA, and Kathleen Quinn of San Antonio, TX.
