Emily Thomas and Matt Stiles, both of Lawrence, were married July 9, 2011, in Lawrence, with Joe Stiles officiating.
The bride is the daughter of James and Susan Thomas, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Joe and Becky Stiles, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Erica Lowry. Best man was Andy Stiles. Bridesmaids were Meredith Bush, Emily Meyer, Katelyn McKee and Katie Discher. Groomsmen were Ryan Ramirez, Andy Gryszowka, David Cooley and Jordan Stiles. Flower girl was Mia Lowry. Junior groomsman was Jack Lane. Ring bearer was Harry Lane.
A reception was given at Alvamar Country Club.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Lawrence High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Kansas University in 2010. She is a second-grade teacher in the DeSoto School District.
The groom is also a 2006 graduate of Lawrence High and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from KU in 2010. He is an English Teacher and assistant football and basketball coach at Lawrence High.
The couple reside in Lenexa.
