Sarah Phillips and Scott Aligo, both of Stillwater, Okla., announce their engagement, along with their parents, Michael and Katherine Phillips, Edgerton, and Gerard and Linn Aligo, Tonganoxie.
The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Gardner Edgerton High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Emporia State University, a master’s degree in higher education administration from Kansas University and is the director of annual giving at the Oklahoma State University Foundation.
The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Tonganoxie High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports and fitness management from KU, is pursuing a master’s degree in education from OSU, and is currently a defensive quality control coach with the OSU football team.
The couple plan a June 29, 2012, wedding at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence.
