Angela Harris, Wamego, and Bobby Wilson, Lawrence, were married June 4, 2011, at the Lawrence Rotary Arboretum, with the Rev. Delmar White officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Janelle Harris, Wamego.
The groom is the son of Robert Wilson, Lawrence, and the late Dolora Wilson.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Adam Harris. Maid of honor was Jill Harris. Best man was Anthony King. Bridesmaids were Annette Deghand, Jocelyn Hawthorne, Sandra Burton and Reiko Bolin. Groomsmen were Tim Laurent, C.J. Reynolds, Pete Sutton and Louis Ryfkogel. Ringbearers were Trystan Harris and Gavin Ross. Flower girl was Torri Jones. Ushers were Orandae Wilson, Steve Pope and Mac White. Guest book attendants were Ayanna Sanders and Lexis Jones.
A reception was given at The Carnegie Building in Lawrence.
The bride is a graduate of Wamego High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in special education, both from Kansas University. She is a special education teacher for Lawrence Public Schools.
The groom is a graduate of Free State High School. He is employed with the city of Lawrence-Parks and Recreation Department.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
