Stephani Heider, Lawrence, and Robert Boyd, Overland Park, were married July 17, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. Kent Winters-Hazelton officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Chris Heider, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Robert Jr. and Anne Boyd, Overland Park.
Maid of honor was Sarah Heider. Best man was Mike Magnusson. Bridesmaids were Linsey Morningstar, Katie Allen, Emily Frank, Kim Bui, Sammie Nakama, Shelly Bennett, Saranne Bergen and Marja Edwardson. Groomsmen were Kit Leary, Paul Morris, Tom Eberline, Nick Orrick, Don Czyz, Steve Clodfelter, Joe Loner and Brian Loftus. Ring bearer was Brock Delmez. Ushers were Matt Heider, Leon Delmez, Jeremiah Gress and Stephen Swirczynski. Bridal attendants were Britani Congleton and Anna Arnone. Program attendants were Jean Orr, Elizabeth Orr, Emily Houston and Holly Houston. Reader was Katy Delmez.
A reception was given at Abe & Jake’s Landing in Lawrence.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Free State High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2007 and a master’s degree in sports studies in 2009, both from Kansas University. She is a special events coordinator for Kansas Athletics.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Blue Valley High School in Overland Park. He attended KU and is enrolled in the Professional Golfers’ Association Certification program. He is an assistant golf professional at Hallbrook Country Club in Leawood.
The couple reside in Lenexa.
