Melissa Schieffer, Lawrence, and Antonio Pam, Hollandale, Miss., were married Nov. 7, 2009, at Old Shawnee Town, with Judge Linda Trigg officiating.
The bride is the daughter of David Schieffer, Shawnee, and Karen Schieffer, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Willie Brockman and Ethel Brockman, both of Hollandale.
Maids of honor were Maria Monroe and Josie Johnson. Best man was Tony Anderson. Bridesmaid was Michelle Schieffer. Groomsmen were Michael Hicks and Will Thomas. Ushers were Jimmy Osen and Spencer Chaney.
A reception followed at Old Shawnee Town.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Free State High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in family studies and human services from Kansas State University in 2007 and is the director at Building Blocks DayCare Center in Lawrence.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Simmons High School in Hollandale, and is employed by Berry Plastics.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
