Beth Dillon and Jay Fisher, both of Bonner Springs, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Chris Peterson and Mary Kobe-Peterson, Kansas City, Kan. She is a 2000 graduate of Eudora High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education in 2004, and a master’s degree in school counseling in 2009, both from Emporia State University. She is a guidance counselor at Turner High School in Kansas City, Kan.
The future groom is the son of Brian and Rita Fisher, Eudora. He is a 1998 graduate of Eudora High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting in 2002, and a master’s degree in accounting and information systems in 2004, both from Kansas University. He is an auditor for the U.S. General Services Administration.
The couple plan a June 12, 2010, wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
