Gordon and Tereza Robinson announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Robinson, all of Lawrence, to Christopher Ricke, Wichita.
The future bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned an associate’s degree in textile design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Kansas University. She is the director of extended care at St. John Catholic School in Lawrence.
The future groom is the son of Glenn and Kay Ricke, Wichita. He is a graduate of Campus High School in Haysville and earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Kansas State University.
The couple plan an Oct. 17, 2009, wedding at St. Lawrence Catholic Chapel in Lawrence.
