Craig Parman, Belle Plaine, and Dena Parman and Bethany Mills, both of Wichita, along with Brian and Joni Lawrence of Lawrence, announce the engagement of their children, Tamera Parman and Matthew Lawrence, both of Lawrence.
The future bride is also the daughter of the late Lloyd Mills. She is a 2002 graduate of Mulvane High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kansas University in 2006 and plans to graduate from KU’s School of Law in May 2010.
The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Lawrence High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from KU in 2007. He is a first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and is stationed at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, N.M.
The couple plan an Oct. 17, 2009, wedding at Danforth Chapel at KU.
