Mike and Susan Brummett announce the engagement of their daughter, Martha Brummett, all of Lawrence, to Benjamin Rumback, Hutchinson.
The future bride is a 2002 graduate of Free State High School. She is studying fashion design at Columbia College in Chicago and is a florist at Marguerite Gardens in Chicago.
The future groom is the son of Don and Karla Rumback, Hutchinson. He is a 2001 graduate of Trinity Catholic High School and studied painting at Kansas University. He is a preschool teacher at Hoyne Street Playgroup in Chicago and a self-employed artist.
The couple plan a Nov. 14, 2009, wedding in The Alton Ballroom at Pachamama’s.
