Lindsay Fortune and Ryan Rowland, both of Charleston, S.C., were married May 9, 2009, at the Governor Thomas Bennett House in Charleston, with the Rev. Joey Branch officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Janet Fortune, Sunset Beach, N.C.
The groom is the son of Ron and Debbie Rowland, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Amber McAlhaney. Best man was Wes Brundridge. Bridesmaids were Katie Krogmeier, Jessica Ware and Megan Leach. Groomsmen were Scott Elwell, Justin Fyle and Michael Obuchowski.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of the Pilgrim Academy in Galloway, N.J. She earned a bachelor’s degree in professional biology from Charleston Southern University in 2008. She is pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Charleston Southern University in 2008 and a master’s degree in accounting from the College of Charleston in 2009. He is employed by the public accounting firm Dixon Hughes in Charleston.
The couple reside in Charleston.
