Delmar and Evelyn Falen, Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in Wisconsin this month and later this summer with family in Estes Park, Colo.
Delmar Falen and Evelyn Pilkington were married June 28, 1959, at First Baptist Church in Parsons.
Delmar is a retired certified public accountant and owned his own business in Marysville for 35 years. Evelyn has a private piano studio and is an organist for First Baptist Church in Lawrence.
They have two daughters, Kyra Shimizu and husband Richard, Superior, Colo., and Shyla Strathman and husband Max, Lawrence; and five grandchildren.
