Norman and Karen Tyler announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Kristine Tyler, all of Eudora, to Matthew Duane Simonson, Lawrence.
The future bride is a 1999 graduate of Eudora High School. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in organismal biology and health communication from Kansas University in 2004, and is a 2009 graduate of Washburn University School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and is a senior pharmaceutical research associate at PRA International in Lenexa.
The future groom is the son of Jim and Patricia Simonson, Topeka. He is a 1998 graduate of Topeka High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in film from KU in 2003. He is employed by the City of Ottawa as a multimedia specialist.
The couple plan a May 8, 2010, wedding at Stony Point Hall in Baldwin City.
