The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Susie Mercer, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Jody and Trudi Johnson, Talala.
Maid of honor was Samantha Phillips. Best man was Cody Johnson. Bridesmaids were Megan Mercer, Hope Johnson and Melissa Simmons. Groomsmen were Brett Knight, Raliegh White and John Wilcox. Guestbook attendant was Noah Mercer. Usher was Jeremy Johnson.
A reception was given at The Lodge on Johnson Hill in Talala.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Lawrence High School, and is studying for a dual major degree in English and education at Oklahoma City University. She is employed by the university as resident assistant.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Oologah-Talala High School and is a senior at Oklahoma City University. He was formerly a welder and lumberjack and is now studying for an elementary education degree. He is also employed as resident assistant by the university.
The couple reside in Oklahoma City.
