Schneider-Martell
Chantal Schneider and Tobias Martell, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Stephen McCabe, Flagstaff, Ariz., and Jacqueline Bittinger, Lawrence. She is a 1996 graduate of Lawrence High School and attended Washburn University. She is currently working on a new clothing line designed especially for plus-size women.
The future groom is the son of Michael and Teresa Martell, Lawrence. He is a 1993 graduate of Lawrence High, earned a degree in home inspection, and works as a handyman.
The couple plan an Aug. 8, 2009, wedding at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University.
