A reception was given at the home of Peggy and Wayne Bernath, aunt and uncle of the groom, in Las Vegas. Another reception was given April 4 at the home of the bride and groom, in Kansas City, Mo.
The bride is a graduate of Winnetonka High School and Penn Valley Community College, in Kansas City, Mo. She is studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is a registered nurse for Northcare Hospice and a veteran of the Army Reserve.
The groom is a graduate of Eudora High School and Maple Woods Community College. He is studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science at Park University. He is employed with Blue River Rehabilitation Center and serves in the Army Reserve.
The couple reside in Kansas City, Mo.
