Voters Guide: From the constitutional amendment to county commission, a look at races on the local ballot

The Aug. 2 election is nearing, with a state constitutional amendment related to abortion rights on the ballot, plus several primary races both on the Democratic and Republican tickets.
While you have to be a member of one of the two political parties to vote in the primary races, any registered voters — including unaffiliated voters or Libertians, for example — can vote on the constitutional amendment.
