Lawrence police have sent out a Silver Alert for 77-year-old Lawrence man Roger Harry Bean. Police said he has not been seen since Tuesday, and he is "known to wander and hitchhike."

The Lawrence Police Department issued a Silver Alert for a missing 77-year-old Lawrence man.

The police shared the alert for Roger Harry Bean Monday afternoon. Lawrence police said that Bean had not been seen since Tuesday, Dec. 23. According to police, Bean has cognitive issues, and is known to wander and hitchhike.

Bean is about 6-foot-2 and weighs 195 pounds.

Lawrence police ask the public to call dispatch at 785-843-0250 or 911 immediately if they see Bean.
