A little rain didn't dampen the spirits of the annual Mardi Gras parade on Tuesday in downtown Lawrence. Revelers sang, danced and played down Massachusetts Street, some with ponchos and umbrellas, and stopped in for a performance at Terrebonne.

The Haskell Indian Nations University women's basketball team defeated Northern New Mexico 57-52 Sunday in the Continental Athletic Conference championship game in Lawrence. Read more about it here.
