Your Friend, aka Taryn Blake Miller, released her debut EP, Jekyll/Hyde, and the news that she has signed with Domino Records. The release is available digitally now and will be out on CD and 12″ on April 8 of this year.

Along with the incredible news that one of Lawrence’s own will be recording under the wing of Domino’s Brooklyn-based label, a Dalton and Austin Paley-directed video for Jekyll/Hyde track ‘Tame One’ appeared online, showing off Taryn Blake Miller’s (AKA Your Friend) life in our very own LFK and performing live with the tight knit community of musicians, some of whom recorded with her on the EP.

Miller had previously released the EP in August of last year, her music topping the KJHK charts repeatedly, which isn’t something we usually see with the local talent. (Lawrence already knew she was special.) For the Domino release, Miller and engineers Danny Bowersox and CJ Calhoun added more depth with freshly recorded live drums and vocals to any already sound record of bass, drums, keyboards, as well as layered guitars and vocals.
