This week you will find THREE inserts in your Sunday paper. This is one heck of a week to stock up on papers … especially if you are just getting started! You will find Red Plum, Smart Source, and the largest P&G brandSaver they have ever published with over $160 in savings. This month P&G will be donating clean drinking water to children for every single coupon redeemed from this month’s insert. You can read more about that here.

There is a big sale at Dillon’s that should carry over for the next several weeks. This is the “CartBuster” event. I’ve gone through the store looking at prices and checking the deals…some are great…some are not deals…and some are the exact OPPOSITE of deals. I found a couple of items that appear to me to be “on sale” for what I believe is their regular price…and state their “regular price” at an inflated rate. In particular: Pampers. As I’m a regular in the baby aisle I know that you can get Pampers at Dillon’s for $8.99 any day of the week. Right now they have that marked as the sale price…while the “regular” price they tout is $9.99. This just proves that one of the key points to saving money and taking advantage of deals is to be an informed consumer! Not that the price isn’t decent…and not that the sale isn’t a good one on some fronts…its the deception that gets under my skin.

But I digress.

In this “Cart Buster” sale you will find several P & G items on sale. In particular:

Tide Laundry Detergent and Stain Release $5.88 (Down from $7.29)

Downy Fabric Softener $4.99 (Down from $6.85)

Cascade Dishwasher Detergent $5.99 (Down from $7.99)

Swiffer Products $6.99 (Down from $8.75)

These are a few of the better deals I found. This is a great opportunity to stock up…and then use your purchases towards the Thank You Mom $100 coupon book offer.

A few of the other items in this sale that I found to be particularly good deals:

Green Giant Steamers $1.28

Use a $0.50/1 printable or sign up at Pillsbury.com for another $0.50/1 printable to get these for $0.28/each after the coupon doubles. You can also use the $0.50/2 coupon from the 2/7 Smart Source and get these for $0.78/each.

Chex Mix $1.50/ea

Today’s Smart Source has a $0.50/1 coupon or you can print them HERE or HERE or HERE

Stack that with a CellFire (Two available here) or Shortcuts (Two available here) loadable coupon and you can get these for FREE. With the great weather on its way in I’m going to stock up on these for play dates and trips to the park.

General Mills Cereals (Family Size) $2.99 (Down from $3.64-$4.49)

$1/1 Printable HERE and a variety of different printables are available HERE and HERE that will double to $1/1. Add to this a CellFire $0.55/1 (2 available for Honey Nut Cheerios) or a Shortcuts $0.55/1 (MultiGrain Cheerios)and you can get these for $1.44/ea. I have a general rule not to pay more than $1/box for cereal but since these are a larger size I think the price fits the bill.

Progresso Soups $1.25/ea (This is ALL Progresso soups which are normally between $1.69 -$2.60)

The 1/17 Smart Source, 2/7 General Mills and 2/21 Smart Source all have a variety of coupons that will allow you to get these soups for around $0.75/can.

In the Health Market you will find:

Cascadian Farms Cereals and Cereal Bars for $2.49 (Down from $4.89)

I found $1.50/2 peelies on some of the boxes which would bring these down to $1.74/each.

You can get a $1/1 Printable which would make them $1.49/each.
