The Weekly Round Up

Here are some of the deals I see around town this week. Please share what finds you come up with!

I plan menus for my family every week based on what I have on hand…then I shop for produce and what I need to fill in the gaps…as well as for the best deals so I can replenish my pantry. You can see my menus every week at Super Jenn and get an idea of how I make this concept work for my family…and see that you really CAN feed your family a nutritional, well balanced diet while using coupons!

The deals at Dillon’s this week are mainly the same as they were last week due to their “Cart Buster Event”. You can read what I wrote about those last week. This will go at least through Tuesday but I have a suspicion this deal will last at least one more week.

In addition to those deals a couple of things that caught my eye were:

Hunt’s Spaghetti Sauce $0.77/ea. Normally $0.95/ea so this is a better sale than the 10/$10 they had a few weeks ago.

Sarah Lee Honey Wheat Bread $1.66

Use the $0.55/1 (2-21 RP) and when this is doubled you can get bread for $0.66/ea. This is a good item to stock up on if you have the freezer space.

Barilla Pasta $0.77/ea (assorted varieties)

I’m not sure which “varieties” are included but there are three different coupons from 3-7 Smart Source that would make this a freebie. If its free and you use pasta, this is another great item to stock up on!

Fast Fixin’ Chicken Breast Strips are on sale for $1.50/ea through the end of the month.

October, January and March issues of All You Magazine all have coupons that will bring these as low as $.025/each.

You can sign up at Fast Fixin’ and receive coupons that will make this a great deal as well.

HyVee has Strawberries for $1.38/16oz. I got these and made some yumma smoothies for my kids this week.

Del Monte canned Fruit $0.99/ea
Use $1/5 from 2-7 Red Plum to get these for $0.79/ea

HyVee Brand Frozen Blueberries, Cherry Berry Blend or Strawberries are $1.88/16oz

I will stock up on these as my family devours Blueberry Muffins when I make them!

If you are a fan of Kellogg’s breakfast products you are in luck at Target this week:

Buy 4 selected Varieties at 4/$10 and get a $5 Target Gift Card back.

Buy 4 Frosted Mini Wheats varieties

Use 2 $1.50/2 printable coupons Here

FP 4/$2 or $0.50/ea after coupons and Gift Cards

Walgreen’s brand disposable diapers are on sale this week for $5.99/ea. I’ve used these diapers before and I was really pleased with them…both very absorbent and they seemed pliable enough for the kids.

CVS has Cover Girl Outlast or Shineblast Lipcolor for $8 and you get $3 ECB. There is a limit of 2. This could be free or a moneymaker:
Buy 2

Use B1 face product G1 free (2-7 P&G)

Use $2.50/2 Any Cover Girl Product (2-7 P&G)

Get 2 LipColors and $6 ECB

FP- $0.50 Overage after Coupons and ECB

(I’m not sure if this will work…you may have to use the $1/1 Cover Girl from same insert bringing your final price to $1.00 for two after ECB and coupons)

I’m not a big fan of mail in rebates….mostly because I have really poor follow through (hey…at least I know this about myself)…but here is one for $25 in savings from ConAgra when you spend $10.

This Tuesday Disney’s Princess and the Frog will be released in stores. You can get a $10/1 DVD/Blu-Ray Combo Pack Printable HERE and you can also find a $5 Mail In Rebate from Band Aid HERE. If you purchase the DVD at CVS this week you will also receive $3 in Extra Care Bucks.

As you are getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day be sure to get your FREE St. Patty’s Day craft and recipe eBook

On top of clipping the coupons you get in today’s LJWorld (remember just because you don’t use them today doesn’t mean you won’t use them in the coming weeks!) be sure to check out all of the printable coupons available Here, Here, and HERE.
