Is education your top issue this election? It's certainly the guiding focus of the the National Education Association, which has a comprehensive checklist of the education stances of Barack Obama and John McCain. While Obama and McCain have almost no agreement with regard to Education policy, Obama and the NEA are almost in perfect sync with each other. It appears McCain has little to offer those concerned with educational issues. Of course, this assumes the NEA has Educational achievement as a priority, which may at times be questioned. But still, the differences are significant, yet not surprising.
