A British school is moving closer to all kids' dreams of having soda run through the drinking fountains and no homework ever. Ever![The BBC reports][1] that the Whitminster Endowed Church of England Primary, [near Stroud, in Central England,][2] is doing away with spelling homework, saying children found it to be "unnecessarily distressing."According to the BBC story, Gloucestershire County Council's head of school improvement Karen Charters said: 'It is entirely for the school to decide if they wish to use spelling lists.'It is important that we recognise the strengths a variety of approaches can bring.'"What's next?
