LJW staffers out to early lead; Eagles the pick for Andy Reid’s reunion in Philly

Week 3 picks.

A pair of Journal-World staffers sit at the top of our NFL pick ’em after two weeks.

Sports editor Tom Keegan and KUsports.com online editor Jesse Newell both have compiled 7-3 records after two weeks to lead the standings. Jeff Hornberger of Henry T’s and Wayne Martin of Wayne & Larry’s are just a game back, as both are 6-4.

Our experts aren’t optimistic about Kansas City’s chances tonight, as only three of the nine experts are picking the Chiefs over Philadelphia in coach Andy Reid’s homecoming.

Remember, you are invited to pick the games along with us at ljworld.com/pigskinpicks. Congrats to Currie Moss of Lawrence, who went 14-2 last week to win a $25 gift certificate from Henry T’s.

A reminder: K.C. and Philly play tonight, so get those picks in quickly to be eligible for this week.
