Not a whole lot of activity this morning in Douglas County.

Lawrence Police responded on two domestic disturbances. One of those disturbances resulted in a man's arrest. That man has been booked into the Douglas County Jail facing a Battery charge. No serious injuries were reported.

Police were also called to check on a report of a vicious animal in the 600 block of N 5th Street. At 5:20, a caller reported having a pit bull "charge" at her as she passed by. The caller did not report any injuries and requested that officers check on the "vicious animal." Three officers responded to check, as of this report there has not been a report number issued to the incident.

The activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on.
