May 7th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

After the weather calmed down overnight things were pretty quiet this morning.

Lawrence Police responded on two disturbances and really that was about it.

One of the disturbances, which was not reported until later in the morning, reportedly involved a knife. It was not clear where that disturbance took place. No injuries were reported.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported making a DWI arrest in the 200 block of Mt Hope Court.

Yesterday’s storms left many without power and dropped two tornadoes in the Olathe area. There were scattered reports of hail in Lawrence and Eudora. More on yesterday’s storms can be found here from Operation 100 News.
