Everything was pretty quiet this morning in Douglas County.

Police in Lawrence conducted a couple of business checks, and found one business with an open door. No loss was reported.

Officers also responded on two reported residential burglaries. No arrests or injuries were reported.

Shortly after 7 a.m., Officers responded after a caller reported that his dog was attacked by another dog in the 700 block of Arizona. The dog was not said to be injured.

The activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. How come there is nothing about the 4 car accident that occured at around 6:45p on highway 59. I saw Three Ambulances and Several Sheriff Officer's at the scene................

LJWorld will report about Johnson County but can't even report on an accident 5 miles outside of Lawrence. Sad sad.

I only report the happenings from 2 a.m. - 8 a.m. Monday through Friday and 2 a.m. - 5 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

It looks like LJW has a story on the US 59 accident you are referring too. http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2012/may...
