May 19th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Police in Lawrence conducted six vehicle stops this morning, three of them resulted in OUI related offenses. One of the three OUI arrests was said to be a second offense. The Sheriff’s Office also conducted a good number of vehicle stops this morning. One of those resulted in the arrest of a now three time offender for DWI.

At 3:50 a.m., Police were called to the 4500 block of Overland Drive for a report of a suspicious vehicle that was driving slowly through the area. About five minutes later, Emergency Dispatchers received a report of a house being egged in the 400 block of Trent Court, the witness reported seeing a similar vehicle to the one on the Overland Drive call. I do not believe officers were able to catch up with the vehicle or anyone involved in the criminal damage incident.

None of this morning’s activity resulted in any serious injuries.
