March 8th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

The weather seemed to keep things pretty calm this morning. Officers and Deputies checked on a few reports of power lines down. Westar Energy only reported 15 customers without power at the storms peak. As of 6:30 a.m., Westar shows three customers without power in the southwest corner of Douglas County.

Police in Lawrence responded on one domestic disturbance just after 2 a.m.. Officers also conducted a vehicle stop, and two pedestrian checks this morning.

None of this morning's activity resulted in any serious injuries or involved the use of any weapons.

The activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on.
