January 26th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Another pretty quite morning in Douglas County.

Officers in Lawrence received information on a theft, one battery and a trespassing. Police also cited several parking violations and arrested a transient male for criminal damage and trespassing.

Lawrence Police responded on an armed disturbance in the 1400 block of Ohio Street just before I began listening at 1:50 a.m.. The call was dispatched at 1:45 a.m., according to the call log. Police reported taking two subjects into custody. Both were booked this morning on charges of aggravated assault. Again, as I had not started listening when the call was dispatched, I do not have any further details on the incident or if there were any injuries.

None of this morning’s activity resulted in any serious injuries.
