January 25th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Things were a little bit quieter in Douglas County this morning.

Just after 12:45 a.m., Lawrence Police were called to the area of 23rd Street and Harper after a nearby resident reported a “crashing” sound and then spotted a male inside the liquor store. The witness reported that the subject appeared to grab several items in the building before leaving on foot.

Officers also received information on threats, two disturbances and a noise complaint.

None of this morning’s activity resulted in any serious injuries.
