The driver was quickly taken into custody after pulling into a parking spot in an apartment complex near W 24th Street and Ousdahl Road.
Officers responded on at least six noise complaints, four disturbances, and two non injury accidents. One of the accidents occurred in the 100 block of Indian Avenue at 4:11 a.m.. The driver fled the scene on foot and Officers caught up with that subject about an hour later in the same general area.
Just after 5 a.m., the National Weather Service in Topeka included Douglas County in a Special Weather Statement for elevated fire danger today. More on this can be found here from the National Weather Service.
