January 12th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

The weather seemed to keep things pretty calm after 2 a.m. this morning.

A Lawrence Police Officer on patrols spotted a suspicious vehicle that suddenly turned off all of its lights and pulled into a driveway. When the officer approached in his vehicle, a man suddenly jumped out of the passengers side of the vehicle and ran. The Officer chased the man down and had him in custody a short distance later. The man was taken into custody in the 2100 block of Inverness Drive. Officers reported a smell of alcohol on the man’s breath and were trying to confirm his drivers license status. The man reportedly told an officer that his license was revoked.

Other than that, Police conducted a few vehicle stops and responded on several alarms.

No serious injuries were reported with any of this morning’s activity.
