August 23rd Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

A little bit more activity this morning in Lawrence.

Police conducted five vehicle stops and cited at least seven parking violations. One of the vehicle stops reportedly involved an arrest for a subject driving without a valid driver’s license.

Only one disturbance this morning, nothing that resulted in any arrests or serious injuries.

Officers responded on a report of a subject being chased by a “vicious” dog in the 2200 block of Lake Pointe Drive, just before 6:30 a.m.. The subject that was being chased was able to get into an apartment and away from the dog just prior to Police arriving on scene. Officers did not report any injuries to the subject and medics were not requested to the scene.
