August 12th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up


Lawrence Police responded on seven disturbances this morning, six of them were reported to be domestic related. Three arrests were made with charges of Assault, Battery, and Criminal Damage to Property.

Officers also conducted 10 vehicle stops, with four resulting in alcohol related arrests. One stop resulted in an arrest related to possession of marijuana.

Just after 3 a.m., a Douglas County Deputy reported that his vehicle had been struck by another motorist at Baldwin Junction. No injuries were reported.

None of this morning's activity was reported to have involved any serious injuries.
