All was quiet again this morning in Douglas County.
Police in Lawrence conducted a few vehicle stops, responded on two disturbances, and two medical emergencies.
LDCFM again this morning, were called to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Around 5:30 a.m. emergency dispatchers received an automatic fire alarm. A full alarm response was dispatched to investigate. Crews arrived on scene a few minutes later and determined the alarm to be false.
None of this mornings activity was said to have resulted in any serious injuries or involve the use of any weapons.
The controlled burn of the Baker Wetlands, just south of Lawrence, is scheduled for this morning. More on this from the Lawrence Journal-World.
