Shortly after 2 a.m., University of Kansas Police reported locating graffiti on an A/C unit located on the west side of Malott Hall. KUPD did not seem to know how long the graffiti had been there.

Lawrence Police conducted a vehicle stop in the 700 block of N 2nd Street at 2:12 a.m.. The driver was taken into custody for OUI.

Officers were called to investigate a noise complaint in the 2400 block of Cedarwood Avenue around 2:50 a.m.. About 20 minutes later, officers reported that they had one subject in custody for "Obstruction." The county booking log also shows that the subject is facing charges of identity fraud and unlawful use of id.

County Deputies and Lawrence Police were both out in the 1000 block of N 3rd Street around 5:30 a.m.. It sounded like they were searching for a suspected burglar in the area. Officers located a "loaded magazine" and then a short time later, located a weapon, a bicycle and other "property" behind a business in the same area. Law Enforcement established a perimeter around the area and searched from where the subject was reportedly last seen. It was unclear if anyone was apprehended.
