April 10th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police were called to an address in the 400 block of N Jon Doy Court at 12:37 a.m., after a report of an armed robbery. A caller reported that two suspects entered the address with a gun. The suspects took some items and allegedly fled the area southbound in a black passenger car. While officers were responding, an Emergency Dispatcher learned that the report was delayed 15 minutes from the time the incident allegedly occurred. The caller also reported that one of the suspects was known. Very few other details were given over the radio however, this morning booking reports show a subject was arrested at the same Jon Doy Court address. That subject, an 18-year-old male, was booked on charges of Falsely Reporting a Crime and Obstruction of the Legal Process.

Police also conducted a few vehicle stops and responded on a few noise complaints. None of this morning’s activity resulted in any serious injuries.
