September 20th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Another very quiet night in Douglas County. Police responded on a few noise complaints, disturbances and performed several car stops.

I was monitoring from around 10 p.m. up until 6 a.m. During that time Lawrence Police pulled one case number that I heard. That involved a reported theft in the 1400 block of E 24th Street.

None of the overnight activity, that I heard, involved the use of weapons and no serious injuries were reported.

For those that follow Operation 100 News (@Operation100) on Twitter. I have cut back my hours of posting updates. Previously I was active just over 60 hours a week. That number has been cut back to 45 hours a week. More information on my decision to cut back hours can be found here.

The activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. To see a complete list of Lawrence Police activity, the department has that available on their website along with several easy to use maps that show approximate locations for Police activity.
