November 28th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Police in Lawrence had a fairly quiet early morning to deal with. Only one noise complaint and a few vehicle stops.

Lawrence Fire was called out to South Middle School to check on an “automatic fire alarm” twice this morning. Both times crews investigated and found the alarm to be false.

Just after 6 a.m., Lawrence Police were called to the 3200 block of Iowa on reports of a male who was seen with a firearm. There was also a report of a vehicle “circling” the parking lot. Police arrived and determined the situation to be stable and the man involved was cooperative with officers. No other information was available regarding the call.
