November 22nd Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police responded on two disturbances after midnight, conducted five vehicle stops, and cited a few parking violations.

Officers received information on two separate theft calls. The first in the 1400 block of W 7th Street and the second was in the 300 block of Locust Street.

Police also responded on three burglary alarms in Lawrence, after midnight. All three of those were determined to be false alarms

Lawrence Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a possible witness to a November 6th injury accident at 19th Street and Iowa Street. More information on this can be found here.

Law Enforcement throughout Kansas will be stepping up patrols this coming holiday weekend (Wednesday-Sunday). More information on this effort can be found here.

None of this morning’s activity, that I heard, resulted in any serious injuries or involved the use of any weapons.
