A very quiet overnight in Douglas County this morning.

Police and Fire/Medical responded to an injury accident in the 400 block of Louisiana. No serious injuries were reported. The accident occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m.

Police made several suspicious vehicle and pedestrian checks. They also handled a few parking violations and responded to check on a 911 Hang up.

Just a few minutes before 6 a.m. Lawrence Fire responded to the 2200 block of Harper on a reported structure fire. The caller advised emergency dispatchers of a strong electrical odor inside the mobile home. Fire crews responded and quickly advised that there was not a fire. One unit remains on scene currently investigating the source of the odor.
