July 20th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

As anyone who has read the blog this week can tell you, its been a quiet week. Last night was no exception.

Lawrence Police responded on a number of fairly routine calls; noise complaints, disturbances and also conducted several car stops. LPD also checked on a few burglary alarms. All of which it sounded like were false alarms.

KUPD also responded on a report of an audible alarm on campus. Officers responded and found it to only be a door bell at one of the delivery docks that was stuck on and sounding constantly. They were able to fix the issue and the noise stopped.

If there was more to add to the blog, I would. There simply was not much activity worth reporting this morning.

Again, the activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. To see a complete list of Lawrence Police activity, the department has that available on their website along with several easy to use maps that show approximate locations for Police activity.
