December 16th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police conducted 13 vehicle stops early this morning. At least one of those resulted in a suspected DUI arrest.

At 3:46 a.m., Emergency Dispatchers sent Officers to the 500 block of Missouri after receiving “several calls” regarding possible gunshots heard in that area. At least seven units responded to the area. Officers located “used fireworks shells” in the 1300 block of W 5th Street.

At 4 a.m., Douglas County Deputies were dispatched to a non injury accident near mile marker 392 on Highway 24. Deputies arrived a few short minutes later and reported that it appeared the vehicle had rolled over.

At 4:03 a.m., Lawrence Police were called to investigate a non injury accident in the intersection of 23rd Street and Haskell.

Police also responded on a few medical related emergencies with LDCFM this morning.
