December 13th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Things kept pretty quiet early this morning in Douglas County.

Lawrence Police conducted three vehicle stops and assisted a stranded motorist. Just before 2:30 a.m., Police made at least one narcotics related arrest in the 900 block of Iowa Street. Officers also responded on several medical related calls with LDCFM.

Just after 6 a.m., LDCFM and Sheriff Deputies responded on a one car rollover accident in the 1600 block of North 1500 Road, just outside of Lawrence. Initial reports were that one vehicle had rolled onto its side. As units were responding to that scene, an additional 911 caller informed dispatchers that the first vehicle had been struck by a second vehicle. One person was reported to have minor injuries. It was unclear if the person was injured in the first or second accident.

None of this mornings activity resulted in any serious injuries or involved the use of any weapons.
