August 29th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up
After a busy weekend, things quieted back down this morning in Lawrence.
Most of the nights activity consisted of fairly frequent activity for Police. Noise complaints, vehicle stops and a few parking violations.
At 2:30 a.m. LDCFM was called out to the 1000 block of Emery Road on reports of a dumpster fire. Crews arrived to find a dumpster on fire, no vehicles or structures were in danger.
Just before 5:30 a.m. Police in Lawrence were called to the 1200 block of New Jersey on reports of a prowler. The calling party stated that there was an unknown person on the front porch of the address. Police arrived and found that there was no one in the area or on the front porch.
The activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. To see a complete list of Lawrence Police activity, the department has that available on their website along with several easy to use maps that show approximate locations for Police activity.
