August 12th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police worked at least two burglaries in the early overnight hours. No information on suspects was available.
The rest of the night was fairly routine activity for Police and mostly medical calls for LDCFM. Lawrence Police conducted a number of vehicle stops, a few residence/area checks and noise complaints.
Police also responded on several disturbances. One of which was reported to be domestic in nature and involved the male subject attempting to kick in a door at his ex girlfriend's apartment. Police arrived before the man was able to get into the apartment. No injuries were reported.
The activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. To see a complete list of Lawrence Police activity, the department has that available on their website along with several easy to use maps that show approximate locations for Police activity.
