Lawrence Police responded on a couple non injury accidents overnight. The first in the 1200 block of Iowa Street just before 10 p.m. and another just a few minutes later in the 4000 block of West 6th Street.
Police also performed numerous suspicious vehicle stops throughout the city, several of which required more then one officer.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. an officer was contacted by a citizen in the 600 block of Massachusetts Street and received information on an indecent exposure. No information was given over the radio as to what this complaint involved or if any arrests were made at the time. The initial officer did request another unit respond and a report number was issued.
Lawrence Officers performed several bar checks just before 2 a.m. Four bars were checked and three violations were cited.
The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Douglas county until 9 a.m. LJWorld Story
