I’m hoping this goes better than the last introduction column I saw on KUsports.com.Here goes. My name is Jesse Newell. I’m the new KUsports.com Online Editor, replacing Ryan Greene (who left for the Las Vegas Sun last month).And, perhaps most importantly to this community, I am indeed a University of Kansas grad. I also don’t have a nickname that rhymes with “Boogie.”I’m thinking we’ll get along just fine.I’ll make the introduction quick: I’m coming back to Lawrence after working as a sports part-timer for the Lawrence Journal-World two years ago. I spent the last two years as the Emporia State beat reporter at The Emporia Gazette.But enough about me. The goal will be to make this blog about you guys.As you probably know, KU’s football media day is set for 2:30 p.m. today.Here’s a way to help a newbie out during his second day on the job: Think of some questions for the KU football players, then put them in the comments section below.
